Catholic Charities Housing, Diocese of Venice, Inc., a corporation formed in 2004, was created to address the serious lack of affordable and safe housing in Southwest Florida. Several housing projects are now underway.

Catholic Charities of Manatee County is a HUD approved housing counseling program that offers a variety of free services such as foreclosure prevention, scam awareness, budget and money management, and reverse mortgage along with a First Time Home Buyer Class, in both English and Spanish, and a Financial Literacy Workshop.
