Job duties include assessing clients and provding services for assistance with rent, utilities, and/or other critical needs; providing services for Sarasota and Manatee counties; coordinating services with other agencies to provide assistance; collecting and analyzing data for grants, monthly program outcomes, and other reports; and assisting the Financial Assistance Program Director in grant writing and reports. Job requirements include a bachelor's degree in social work, family services, psychology, or related human services field; two to three years working knowledge of community services; minimum of two years experience in social work service management; working knowledge of case managment and development; good oral and written communications, problem solving, and organization skills; computer experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and data management; ability to work in a multi-purpose setting with people of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds; and bilingual English and Spanish skills is preferred. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the management of all administrative operations of the central office and also assists the CEO and COO in the daily operations of the overall agency. Job duties include, but are not limited to, upholding a strict level of confidentiality, preparation of agency documents, coordination of executive communication, scheduling meetings and appointments, taking minutes of corporate meetings, managing travel itineraries, maintaining agency files, preparation of fundraising proposals, and providing technical and clerical support to the executive staff. Job requirements include a bachelor's degree in business management or communication relate field, a minimum of five years of adminstrative/office management experience, excellent computer skills with emphasis on advanced Microsoft Office, excellent communications skills as well as the ability to work effectively with all members of the public that interface with Catholic Charities, and bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus. Job duties include providing management of social service programs in designated areas including resource development, program development,  and all administrative functions. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. is looking for a District Director for Sarasota, Manatee and Desoto counties. Job duties include overseeing all programs and services provided by Catholic Charites in Sarasota, Manatee and Desoto counties. This includes programmatic oversite, staff management, funding/budget management, grant application/deliverables, performance improvement initiatives, donor relations, community partnership and fundraising activities, regular participation in community partnership meetings, meeting with funders as needed, outreach of parishes within the geographical area, conducting regional meetings and site visits, assisting program directors with problem solving and program development, and providing monthly written reports to the CEO/COO. Job requirements include a master’s degree in business, public administration or human services; a minimum of five years of leadership and management experience in human services or related field; excellent computer skills such as internet, MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel; and experience working with the following issues such as mental health, substance abuse, low income and homeless populations, and persons with physical disabilities.
