A high school diploma will be considered with a minimum of 1-2 years experience with the target population and/or experience in working with the local school system. Bi-lingual skills in English/Spanish and/or Creole is needed. Job duties include responsibility for the provision of refugee youth and family intakes, assessments, academic/career support services, cultural/recreational services, educational support programs, and case management to help at-risk refugee youth and families achieve success in their adjustment to living in the United States . This includes advocacy with the school system and coordination services. The job candidate also will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of the on-site tutoring center.
