Catholic Charities of DeSoto County
partners with Habitat for Humanity

 

Arcadia--Staff members of Catholic Charities of DeSoto County and students from the agency's After School Tutoring Program spent a day lending a hand at Habitat for Humanity. "We helped with painting, caulking, and general cleanup," said Andrea Herigodt, Program Director. "It was a good time had by all."

 

Herigodt said the family that will receive the Habitat home was a former client of Catholic Charities of DeSoto County. "The community must work together to help stabilize families," she said.
