Refugee Youth and Family Program
A new
Catholic Charities program serves
refugee families located in Collier County by focusing on the preservation
of the entire family as part of an overall goal of achieving economic
self-sufficiency and effective resettlement.
Plantation Community Foundation
For the
third year in a row, Our Mother’s House of Catholic Charities was
awarded a grant from the Plantation Community Foundation in Venice. A
total of $2,612 was given to the agency to cover the costs of printing a
newsletter.
Catholic Charities Ball
The 2008 Catholic Charities Ball was a record fund-raising success for the programs of Sarasota and Manatee counties, but the event also benefited a group of students at Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota.
